Description:	This course is golf at its raw best. Only tees and greens are irrigated. By summer the fairways are rock hard and running shots are possible. Tiny greens give the course a Scottish/early golf feel. Hi Point is pasture golf.
Facilities:	They have a bathroom and a soda machine.

"I was delighted to find Hi Point golf course mentioned on your site and in Golf magazine's article on 'pasture golf'. That was my favorite course in Iowa City...The Hi Point clubhouse appeared to be a trailer on cinder blocks with a little concrete patio. The service was and probably still is friendly and down to earth. The original 9-hole course was an appealing layout, but 9 new holes have been added and the course was rerouted between old and new holes. The new holes are arguably more 'true-to-pasture', but in comparison they are kind of bland. I agree 100% that this course is very close in character to the small Scottish courses.
