A par-3 mountain course overlooking beautiful Steamboat
Lake, 25 mi. No. of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Known as "The
udder golf course where every hole is just a chip away." The
course was hacked out of sagebrush and open cattle range. Frequent
visitors include deer, antelope, cows and "good 'ol boys & girls."

Cow Chip Country Club Rules of Play
1. You must have a good sense of humor.
2. Winter-Plus Rules. You may improve fairway lies (by hand) one club
length.
3. No penalty for lost ball in fairway. Drop ball in proximity to lost
ball.
4. No penalty for unplayable lie in rough. Drop ball within 2 club lengths.
One stroke penalty for lost ball in rough.
5. No putting. Pitch ball inside wire surrounding flag. Must be inside.
6. Don't replace divots (That's how we level the course)
7. Three minute time limit for lost balls.
8. Three club limit. Any three.
9. If you get upset or disagree with any of the above, refer to #1.
